Sponsors; A dad’s letter to her campus daughter.

“Claudia,my daughter.

How are you? I hope you are fine.

The last time you came home you looked different, but I was afraid to ask you as your parent.

I don’t think the 1500 I send every week could buy an iPhone.

My child be free and tell me,if you have a sponsor tell me not to send you money.

Tell me to save this little money for your coffin.

My daughter.

I hear those men are beasts.

They need fresh flesh.

They are carnivorous.

They are brutal.

I feel bad.

If you know you have a sponsor, tell me to save this little money for your burial.

Sometimes i cannot afford to get you Brazilians and french fries because of the background.

I have little money.

But you think a sponsor is the best option, tell me to save this little money to bribe a pastor who will praise you on the burial day.

Whenever i read about a murdered University girl,Iam worried.

Whenever I imagine you are out with an old man I feel disturbed.

Everytime i think he is waisting your life.

I feel pained.

Princess,If you know you have a sponsor tell me to save this little money to feed mourners.

Finally,,,,,,,,,,,,,

If you will not tell me to send you rent this month.

I will know you have increased your worth and you might be living a high profile life.

But I will still it as it’s my responsibility.

If you know you have a sponsor tell me to save this little money ,,,,,,,,,,,,

To buy water for your comrades ,who will be demonstrating and rioting over your death.”

Your loving and caring,Daddy.

This is what every parent is afraid of everytime their daughters are out to the world for higher education. The fear of losing their girls pains and disturbes them.sponsors are not the way out to hash and difficult campus life.Just be patient and contented with what you get from parents and relatives.Remember you still have a future after school take care and safeguard your diginty and future.
