I…. will take you

to be my husband

to have and to hold

from this day forward

for better, for worse,

for richer, for poorer,

in sickness and in health,

to love and to cherish,

till death do us part,

according to God’s holy law,

and this is my solemn vow

Help me God.

And the congregation was so happy, there was applause and shouts from every corner of the church, the guitar and the trumpets were made to hail the union…. But not just yet!It was the groom’s turn to exactly say what Silvia said.

She was so happy that she had made it to the altar , ready to sail in the marriage yacht with the love of her life. Someone she had dreamt of all her life, someone so handsome that every girl from even far villages was envy about her luck!but was it really luck or it had a prefix bad… Let’s dig harder.

Holding her breath she waited patiently and eagerly to hear the sincere vow to God from him. He paused, he paused longer than anticipated. His lips moving but no word came out, he was tensed if not confused, it’s like the words flew from his round shaped head, everyone noticed the disappointment forthcoming, but no one dared say a word, not even the bride, the priest stood still, I guess he was meditating on something. I smelled something wrong, but could there be anything I don’t know about? I wondered.

“Don’t be Judas, tell her, tell her”. Someone shouted.

Tell her? I wondered. What is it that should be toldπŸ€”. What could it be that I don’t know. Am lost!

Ensure that you ride with me to the next episode as we try to know what Silvia was to be told.

Don’t miss.
